Flynn Vineyards
(1985-2002)

Wayne Flynn’s vineyard and winery were located about 10 miles west of Salem in the south Eola Hills. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were first planted in 1982 with Pinot Gris planted in 1993. Total planted acres exceeded 100.

Early Flynn wines were made at Yamhill Valley Vineyards. A classic European style winery was built in 1990.

He was well known as a vineyard owner growing grapes for others, and started his own label in 1985. The winery also was used as a custom crush facility.

About 80% of the winery’s production was sparkling wines. Flynn Vineyards was located at 2200 W. Pacific Hwy, Rickreall, OR.

In 2002 Flynn Vineyards and Winery were sold to Firesteed Winery.
