Gary Andrus is remembered for producing awarding winning wines in three distinctly different growing regions. He was also a downhill skier on the U.S. Olympic ski team.

In 1978 he founded Napa Valley’s Pine Ridge a producer of top notch Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1993 he founded Archery Summit and help set new standards for growing and producing Pinot Noir in Oregon.

In 2002 he started Gypsy Dancer Estates in Oregon; also Gypsy Dancer Christine Lorrane Cellars in Gibbston Valley, on New Zealand’s South Island, producing well received Pinot Noir in both locations. He passed away in 2009.
