Lores Dauenhauer

Among Lores Daurnhauer’s many lifetime accomplishments were co-founding Hauer Of The Dauen Winery in Dayton, Oregon and helping to organize women in Agriculture in Yamhill County. Lores and her husband Carl founded the winery in 1999.
The name of the winery is derived from the Dauenhauer’s last name.
The Dauenhauer’s started planting their vineyard in 1980 and planted acreage now totals about 110 acres. The winery produces 4,000 cases a year including Pinot Noir, a dessert wine and a number of other varietal wines.
Lores Dauenhauer, a native of Oregon, passed away in November 2017 at the age of 80.
