Pioneering Oregon Wineries

Granville Winery
(1999-2000’s)

Well respected Yamhill County viticulturist Allen Holstein and his wife introduced their own label, Granville Wines, when they released a 1999 Pinot Noir and 2000 Pinot Gris. These wines were marketed in the early 2000’s and made by the couple as joint winemakers. Initial winery production was about 500 cases.

Holstein managed some of Yamhill County’s best known vineyards, such as Knudsen, Argyle, Domain Drouhin Oregon, Stoller, and others.

The grapes for Granville wines were grown on the Holstein Vineyard planted in 1972, located in the Red Hills of Dundee.
